What took place on Monday was a perfect example of why I’m so happy that Iterasi was selected to present at DEMO 2008.
You see, Monday morning, we were allowed to start talking about our product. And because of the appeal of DEMO, people are listening. Even though we haven’t had a chance to show the product to all of the attendees, the early feedback—I’m happy to say—has been positive.
Here’s what some folks are saying about Iterasi:
- Iterasi, a social bookmarking site that lets you save the contents of any page
“Iterasi is a social bookmarking site that lets you save the exact contents of a web page, like you can’t do using other options.” - Print Screens Without the Paper: Iterasi
“Given the outlook for personalized web experiences, data portability, and a number of other customized tools for mashing up varied parts of your own Internet, Iterasi offers a compellingly simple look at the potential for the tailored web.” - DEMO 2008: Iterasi for Preserving Website States and More
“The final tease of Iterasi is the most interesting. You can schedule Iterasi to notarize pages on a regular basis.” - Iterasi makes social bookmarking timeless
“One of the most interesting features, and one I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on, is the scheduler. This tool will let you go in and schedule times when you want Iterasi to go to a certain Web page and take a snapshot right down to the hour.” - DEMO: Iterasi Lets You Save The Internet One Page at a Time
“One of the cool features of Iterasi is the ability to schedule page saves - so you could look at your favorite sites, and save them every day our hour. I could see this being the cornerstone of their offering as it would be great for competitive research.” - Iterasi: Dynamic Bookmarking
“Launching today at DEMO 2008, Iterasi promises to revolutionize social bookmarking for the Web 2.0 world.” - Iterasi launches at DEMO 2008
“When Iterasi saves the page, it’s in its native format. It’s HTML. So all of the links still work. All of the CSS is still there. So you get to see all of the content, in context, and work with it, instead of just looking at it.” - Saving Exact Replicas of Web Pages with Iterasi
“This is pretty much like running the Archive.org engine but only on the sites that you specify.” - DEMO preview: Iterasi saves, searches and shares dynamic web content
“I’m intrigued by this idea of ‘notarizing’ a web site. This Iterasi tool captures web pages and schedules automated retrieval over time. It’s got my ear.” - Vancouver start-up looks to make big splash at tech event
“The Web 2.0 offering allows users to create private accounts or share the sites they save, and works with Web pages that don’t typically do well with bookmarks, such as dynamic search results and receipts from online purchases.” - Bookmarking Web pages with Iterasi
“Iterasi, one of four startup companies from Washington launching this week at the DEMO conference in Palm Desert, Calif., has unveiled a new social bookmarking service that allows people to save specific Web pages.” - Iterasi: bookmark dynamic pages
“Iterasi is actually bookmarking 2.0 and its associated dynamic technologies.” - DEMO Program Guide
“As Web sites and services become increasingly dynamic, this tool will become increasingly valuable and a must have in every browser.”
We couldn’t be happier with the initial reviews. And we’re looking forward to introducing even more people to Iterasi on Tuesday morning—right around 8:45 a..m.
