So, how do I save these elusive web pages?

Iterasi provides two different ways to save web pages. Pick the option that allows you to do what you want to do:

  • No-install Bookmarklet. Using the browser bookmarklet, you’ll get a feel for how iterasi works. One click captures any publicly accessible web page in its original state, saving it to your archive as functional HTML forever. It’s a great way to save pages on the fly.
  • Browser extension. Need more power? Installing the browser-based software allows you to capture any web page exactly as you see it — even if you had to log in to get to it. This is the perfect solution for saving pages that contain private information like receipts, pages that change as you interact with them, or custom web apps like Google Maps.

How do I use the bookmarklet?

Drag, drop, save: It’s that easy.

If you want to try iterasi—or use it without having to install software on your machine—there’s no better way than using the Iterasi bookmarklet.

Simply drag the following link to your browser’s bookmark bar:

Archive to iterasi

Create an iterasi account to store your saved pages. Then, when you find a page you want to save, simply click the Archive to iterasi link. And voila! It’s saved forever in your secure iterasi account.

How do I use the iterasi browser extension?

The iterasi application lives on your web browser toolbar. Create an iterasi account and download the toolbar for your browser. When you want to save a page follow these steps:

  1. Click Notarize
  2. Click OK

Okay, so that's not much of a list. But, that's all you have to do.

If you like, you can add additional tags, store it in a folder, or write some notes about why this page is so important to you. Iterasi will instantly transfer your page to your secure iterasi account. And, voila! It’s saved. Forever.

Now, you have an exact, working copy of the page. Text, links, images, live forms, transactions, receipts, confirmations and, of course, all of your personalized content. Right there, whenever you want it.

How do I retrieve a page?

Getting back to your saved web pages? Just as simple.

Log in to your iterasi account from any web browser. If you are using the iterasi toolbar, click on the button on your toolbar. If you are using the bookmarklet, simply drag the following bookmarklet to your browser bookmark bar:

View iterasi

Once you’re inside your secure iterasi account, you’ll have access to all of your saved pages. You can view the pages, do a little more organizing, search for that page you saved a month ago, or share any of your saved web pages.

That’s all well and good. But I want to automate this whole thing.

Settle down, power user. We’ve got exactly what you need.

We understand that there are some pages you want to save on a regular basis. Without having to come back, day after day, simply to click a button.

That’s why the iterasi browser extension comes with a built-in scheduler.

With the scheduler, iterasi will save pages automatically for you. Pick the url and the frequency, and you’re done.

When you want to review your saved pages, simply log in and see what’s been saved.

We think you can probably do some interesting stuff comparing those pages over time.
